Ginger is a natural inhibitor of inflammatory substances and can be used for headaches, muscle pain, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and so much more.

For nausea, there have been long term studies done showing that both nausea and vomiting have been decreased significantly by taking only 500 to 1000mg of ginger per day. This works well for women who are pregnant as well as people who have bowel spasms, gastric issues, bloating, diarrhea, stomach ulcers and more. It is especially helpful with motion sickness, although not quite as effective for middle ear dizziness like vertigo. It is a strong antioxidant and can inhibit certain bowel infections. What is so great about ginger, because it is a naturally grown root, the side effects of ginger are minimal. Very high doses over 5,000mg on an empty stomach can cause stomach problems but it is rare that this high of a single dose is needed. Most people simply take one ginger root supplement per day and find that it helps them naturally to feel better.

Herbal Diuretics

The term diuretic refers to any substance that helps to rid the body of excess body fluids and salts through urination. These can take the form of prescription or over-the-counter drugs, homeopathic and herbal remedies or certain foods with diuretic qualities that promote urine formation. Herbal diuretics are the most sought after though, and also what is considered to be the healthiest because they are made of all natural ingredients. Unlike synthetic diuretics which require a physicians supervision at all times, herbal diuretics can be taken on a regular basis without any side effects.

Herbal Diuretics are important in the prevention and treatment of a number of conditions. These include fluid retention or edema, high blood pressure, and glaucoma just to name a few. Herbal diuretics work by making your kidneys excrete more sodium in the urine. The body then tries to balance out this increased amount of sodium concentration, by adding more water to the urine from the blood stream during the process of urine formation. By expelling the excess water in the urine there is now a decreased amount of fluid flowing through the blood vessels and pressure on the walls of the arteries is reduced.

Herbal Diuretics are commonly used to treat hypertension and heart problems related to high blood pressure. In addition, certain herbal diuretics can be used to prevent, treat or relieve symptoms of a variety of medical conditions such as congestive heart failure, hypertension and polycystic ovary syndrome. It has also been shown that herbal diuretics work with certain kidney disorders, liver disease, diabetes insipidus, osteoporosis, and urinary tract infections.

Dandelion and Buchu are two well-known herbs which are herbal diuretics are made from, but there are several natural herbs that can be added. While natural diuretics are far healthier than prescription and over-the-counter alternatives, they too should be used in a moderate and sensible manner as they are highly effective and extra precaution should be taken if used in combination with allopathic diuretics.

Papaya Enzymes

The papaya is a plant native to Mexico and Central America which essentially is a short lived fast growing herb that bears fruit. The papaya is a pear shaped fruit that is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin A and potassium. Papayas also contain the enzyme papain which is a digestive enzyme and is more abundant in green, unripe fruits. Enzymes help to speed up chemical reactions in the body. Papain has a mild and soothing effect on the stomach and is very useful in helping to aid protein digestion which is what makes the papaya enzyme so important to our overall health.

The benefits of papaya enzymes for medicinal purposes are diverse and this makes papain an extremely valuable enzyme. Papaya enzymes can be used to treat ulcers, dissolve membranes in diphtheria and help to reduce swelling and fever after surgery. Papaya enzymes have also been used to treat cold sores and food allergies. Papaya enzymes have also been noted to be useful as an anti-inflammatory and can also help to alleviate edemas. In low dosages papain enzyme is an excellent digestive aid and people who suffer with a dyspeptic disorder are normally prescribed papain. Papain also helps to regulate the bowels and helps to clean away dead tissues from the body.

Papaya enzyme supplements may also prove beneficial to people who suffer from lower back pain, sprains and strains. It can also help to keep skin healthy and boost immune system function. They have been found to be extremely effective in dissolving fats to purge and soften the skin and can be found in many beauty products. It also work wonders for sports injuries such as bruising and swelling because of its ability to reduce swelling and thin mucous. Lastly, papaya enzymes can be used for reducing the swelling of a sore throat and can help to alleviate sinus pain caused by blocked or swollen sinuses. Many people have reported a rapid reduction in symptoms of sore throats and sinus pain after taking a papaya enzyme supplement.

Peppermint Supplements

Peppermint is what is considered to be a sterile hybrid mint which is a cross between watermint and spearmint. It has a high menthol content which comes from the aromatic perennial plant that grows to about two feet tall. Peppermint belongs to the Lamiaceae family and grows throughout North America, Asia, and Europe. Peppermint is also known as Mentha piperita, brandy mint, and lamb mint. Peppermint plants bloom from July through August, sprouting tiny purple flowers in whorls and terminal spikes. Beautiful to look at, it is also very beneficial to your health when it comes in the form of peppermint supplements.

The main ingredients of peppermint are menthol, menthone, and methyl acetate but other components include terpenoids, flavanoids, polymerized polyphenols, carotenes, tocopherols, betaine, and choline. Methyl acetate is responsible for peppermint’s minty aroma and flavor and is known to reduce itching, which is just one of the many benefits. Menthol also has local anesthetic and counterirritant qualities. Peppermint calms digestive spasms, relieves gas, boosts the flow of bile, fights bacteria, and acts as a decongestant. It acts as a sedative on the stomach and strengthens the bowels.

Peppermint supplements are used to increase the flow of digestive juices and bile while relaxing the muscles of the digestive tract which in turn helps the body to digest fats. The menthol in peppermint increases the beneficial flow of all digestive juices and the menthol acts to stimulate the stomach lining. Its cooling properties soothe the stomach and ease stomach pain. Peppermint is also an expectorant and decongestant which may offer some relief for mild asthma attacks, lessening bronchial constriction and making it easier to breathe. It also has an antispasmodic effect can provide significant relief for the abdominal pain, bloating, alternating periods of constipation and diarrhea, and general abdominal discomfort associated with this intestinal condition. Lastly, peppermint supplements promote sweating, which may help regulate body temperature when you have a fever. The distinctive aroma of peppermint is believed to improve concentration, relieve headaches, and reduce mental fatigue as well.

Parasite Cleanse

A parasite is an organism that grows, feeds, and is sheltered on or in a different organism while contributing nothing to the survival of its host. Sounds pleasant right? Wait, there’s more. There are about 3200 different types of parasites divided into four groups. There can be over 100 different kinds of parasites worms living in our human body. Some are microscopic, while others can be seen rather easily. The common organisms can be found everywhere such as in the air we breathe, in the water we drink, in the food we eat, or in our environment.

These parasites cause millions of people to suffer needlessly from the effects caused by parasites. While some parasites are believed to cause little or no harm to the human body, many of these parasites cause great harm. Most people do not want to acknowledge this and continue to deal with their suffering. Some of the common symptoms of parasites include allergies, asthma, bloating, blood in stools, constipation, immune system dysfunction, intestinal obstruction, irritable bowel syndrome, lethargy, bed wetting, fever, forgetfulness, chapped lips, pain in joint and muscles, excess weight gain, menstruation problems, chronic fatigue, swollen glands and so many more.

That is why it is so important that you do a regular parasite cleansing, to get rid of all the parasites that could be living in your body. Using an herbal parasite cleanse will make sure you get the right herbs that will kill the parasites living within you and will keep you healthier overall. A good parasite cleanse will be full of cranberry, black walnut hull powder, carrot juice powder, cloves powder, blueberry leaf, and so much more that when put all together in a parasite cleanse supplement it can effectively kill the parasites itself as well as the babies and any toxins that are left over in your body.

Systemic Enzymes

Systemic enzymes, which are essential in the body, are protein molecules which initiate and control nearly every biochemical process in the body. The presence of certain enzymes is what makes it possible for us to digest food, repair tissue, and rid our bodies of dangerous toxins. Every enzyme controlled reaction is crucial to overall health, and a few of the duties that enzymes perform include breaking down food particles enabling them to pass through the intestinal wall and enter the blood stream, as well as transforming tiny food nutrient particles into tissue found in muscles, nerves, organs, glands, etc. Systemic enzymes also contribute to the process that stores sugar in the liver and muscle tissue. They enable mineral molecules to link up with blood cells and help to detoxify our blood and tissues by enabling our immune system to attack foreign material. Lastly, they direct metabolism on a cellular level and converting food to energy, which fuels virtually every biologic mechanism of the body.

System enzymes are basically the spark plug of your life and yet it is important to understand that the average diet is enzyme-deficient. Refined and processed foods, as well as cooking at high temperatures, destroy enzymes. A diet which consists primarily of cooked food is undoubtedly seriously lacking in enzymes. Raw, uncooked foods are laden with enzymes and help digest the very food they are found in. Unfortunately, most of the enzymes in food are destroyed when the food is cooked, steamed, microwaved or baked.

When systemic enzyme reserves become depleted, we place large amounts of unnecessary stress on body organs like the pancreas, liver and lymph system. Enzyme deficiency contributes greatly to acidification of the body. Without sufficient systemic enzymes, foods and proteins go undigested, and eventually ferment in the body, causing toxicity and acid overload. Research studies strongly suggest that significant numbers of people with liver disease, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, tuberculosis and even obesity have low tissue enzyme levels. Even if your body has a sufficient quantity of enzymes to operate, these enzymes require specific pH environments in order to function.

Chromium Picolinate

Chromium picolinate is a nutritional supplement that works to increase the efficiency of insulin to optimal levels. This popular nutritional supplement is a combination of the element chromium and picolinic acid. Chromium is a naturally-occurring mineral, trace amounts of which are found in everyday foods like meat, poultry, fish, and whole-grain breads. FDA recommends a daily chromium intake of approximately 130 mcg, as infinitesimal amounts of chromium are needed to aid the transport of blood glucose across cell membranes. Combining chromium with picolinic acid simply aids in efficient chromium absorption, and it is this combined form that is popular on the diet market today.

Some benefits of chromium picolinate include its ability to keep the body metabolism healthy. The most common usage for chromium picolinate is as a weight loss aid because of the claims that this supplement can melt fat, drastically reduce appetite, and increase metabolism. Chromium picolinate weight loss is also achieved by the ability of chromium picolinate to reduce sweet cravings and hunger pangs. Improved carbohydrate and fat metabolism is a major function of chromium picolinate, which can help with proper weight management. Another benefit is that chromium picolinate can also decrease high blood pressure and cholesterol while it aids in promoting healthy growth hormone functions.

The exact mechanisms by which chromium improves insulin efficiency are currently unclear but it has been suggested that chromium somehow works to increase sensitivity of insulin receptors. However, because research has yet to produce any definite answers as to the exact function of chromium picolinate, competing theories about its precise effects exist. Some claim that that the improved insulin efficiency causes an increase in the production of serotonin, which subsequently reduces appetite. Still others assert that chromium can regulate the fat-production processes in the body, preventing excess fat from forming. One hypothesis states that chromium picolinate and especially chromium picolinate supplements increase protein synthesis, which in turn stimulates muscle growth.

Chromium

Chromium is an essential trace mineral meaning that it is essential for the metabolism of carbohydrates, and it also helps to regulate the metabolism of our blood sugar and thus helps deter diabetes. The benefits of chromium also include controlling fat and cholesterol levels in the blood, and if adequate amounts are provided to the body, it can help to prevent hypertension or high blood pressure.

Chromium has become well known as a natural alternative to diet drugs. Ask any dieter and they will probably be able to tell you about the benefits of chromium. Dieters mainly use a form of chromium known as chromium picolinate and claim that it helps them to decrease their body fat and improve their muscle tone. Experts, on the other hand, will tell you that the role of chromium in weight loss is to correct insulin resistance which is in fact due to a chromium deficiency. The known causes of chromium deficiency are malnutrition, alcoholism, and strenuous exercise.

Dieters use chromium because of its essential role in the metabolism of carbohydrates and fat. It is usually taken in the form of chromium picolinate and has been studied due to its potential to alter body composition. Chromium supplements could enhance the effects of insulin for diabetics, and could possibly lead to hypoglycaemia so it is advised that anyone with diabetes contact their doctor before taking a chromium supplement.

Other benefits include cardiovascular health, because it has been shown to prevent atherosclerosis. It benefits eyes, especially inflammation of the cornea. Neurological benefits include the synthesis of serotonin and it also may help to prevent acne if taken at a high enough level per day. Research is still out on this, but for the most part, if taken correctly chromium can be extremely beneficial to many people who simply do not get enough chromium in their diet.

Biotin

Although Biotin is sometimes referred to by the name Vitamin H, the vitamin is actually a member of the B-vitamin family and can be found naturally in food such as cauliflower, nuts, sardines, legumes, brewer’s yeast, egg yolk and kidney and liver meats.
Additionally, Biotin is produced naturally by the body in the intestine. Considered to be an essential nutrient, Biotin has long been reputed to be beneficial for healthy hair and skin. Other benefits of biotin include treating muscle pain.

The benefits of Biotin supplements are primarily to treat Biotin deficiency. Signs of Biotin deficiency include thin hair, brittle nails, balding, a rash located on facial areas as well as depression, loss of appetite, hallucinations, and numbness in body extremes, fatigue and lethargy. In infants, diets lacking in Biotin can result in developmental delay and blighted growth. Due to the fact that patients on intravenous feeding tubes are often at risk for Biotin deficiency, one of the many important benefits of Biotin supplements is the replacement of this much needed vitamin in patient’s diets. Additionally, since infants are also at serious risk, powdered and liquid infant formula often contains Biotin supplements.

Other individuals who may be at risk for Biotin deficiency and would benefit from Biotin supplements are those people who consume large amounts of raw eggs. This is because components in raw eggs attack Biotin found naturally within the body. People who have had a portion of their small intestine removed may also be at risk for Biotin deficiency as well as women who are pregnant. Early studies of biotin have linked Biotin to reducing high blood sugar levels in diabetics which is currently being researched much more as of late. This is because it has shown that biotin can be extremely effective on Type 2 diabetes in controlling insulin and sugar levels. Whether taking biotin for deficiency or to help with hair, skin, muscle pain or diabetes, you can feel assured that biotin is safe for the body. As an all natural product that is produced within your body, it will keep you healthy without posing any risk whatsoever.
